Hello, My name is Rubi Castaneda. I'm 26 years
old and was born in Waukegan Il, but I lived over half of my life in the city
of The Eternal Spring, Cuernavaca Morelos, Mexico. In the year 2000 my family
moved here to MIlwaukee to live near my Brother's and Sister's families, and
just like many others the transition was difficult at first both personally and
professionally. I'm the youngest in of three children, and the daughter of one
of the first pioneers (Luis Castaneda) to start on the radio, a Latin station
here in the city of Milwaukee WI. From his start and desire to give to the
Latin people in this city the music they love, I attribute to him my own desire
for everything that has to do with the radio and what it still means to the
Latin people of the city Milwaukee WI. Let me finish by giving thanks to Mr.
John Torres, Mr. Paco Elizalde and thanks to God for the opportunity, and the
support they gave to me when they opened the doors and permitted me to
collaborate with them here at WJTI "LA NUEVA RITMO" 1460 AM. |

Que tal, Mi nombre es
Rubi Castañeda, tengo 26 años naci en waukegan ill y vivi
practicamente toda mi vida en la hermosa ciudad de la eterna primavera
cuernavaca morelos Mexico. Soy la menor de tres hermanos e hija de uno de los
pioneros de la radio en español aqui en Milwaukee el sr. luis
castañeda a quien le atribuyo mi gusto por la radio y todo lo que esta
contiene. Tengo ya 7 años de vivir en Milwaukee y al igual que muchos de
ustedes esa idea de superacion tanto en lo personal como en lo profesional. No
quisiera terminar sin darle gracias a dios por esta oportunidad,al Sr. John
Torres y al Sr. Paco Elizalde por abrirme las puertas y permitirme colaborar
con ellos y por supuesto a ustedes por el apoyo que me han brindado aqui en "la
