Welcome to radio station WJTI 1460 AM "La Nueva Ritmo", in Southeast Wisconsin. We would like to thank all our listeners for their support and encouragement and pledge to make WJTI a station that serves the Community. 1460 AM has been serving the Milwaukee's Hispanic Community for over 10 years. Today our plans for the future includes a move to a new tower with more power to better serve the Community as it continues to grow.

Bienvenidos a la estacion de radio WJTI 1460 AM "La Nueva Ritmo" en el Surestgge de Wisconsin. Queremos agradecer a todos nuestros radio escuchas por su apoyo y estimulo y prometemos hacer de WJTI la estacion que sirve a la comunidad. 1460 ha estado sirviendo a la comunidad HIspana de Milwaukee por mas de 10 años. MILWAUKEE BUSINESS JOURNAL STORY
Racine Spanish-language radio station WJTI-AM (1460) - known as "La Nueva Ritmo" (The New Rhythm) - will relocate its antenna from Racine to West Allis and boost its signal to better reach the entire Milwaukee metro area.
The station's owner, El Sol Broadcasting LLC, has applied for the changes with the Federal Communications Commission. John Torres of Milwaukee, who heads El Sol Broadcasting, said he hopes to begin broadcasting by mid-summer 2009 from towers at South 98th Street and West Lincoln Avenue in West Allis. His station would share towers with gospel station WGLB-AM (1560).
"This makes us a bonafide Milwaukee radio station," said Torres, who bought the Racine station in October 2006.
The station's daytime signal will increase from 350 watts to 1,000 watts and its nighttime signal will improve from 50 watts to 240 watts, Torres said.

La estacion Hispana de Racine WJTI-AM (1460) conocida como la "Nueva Ritmo" va a relocalizar su antena desde Racine hacia West Allis y aumentar su senal pero alcanzar mucho mejor el area entera de Metro Milwaukee. El propietario de la estación, El Sol Broadcasting ha aplicado para hacer los cambios con Comisión Federal de Comunicaciones. John Torres de Milwuakee, quien dirige El Sol Broadcasting dijo que el espera estar transmitiendo desde su nuevas torres en el sur de la calle 98 y Oeste de la Avenida Lincoln en West Allis a mitad del verano 2009. Su estación va a compartir las torres con la estación religiosa WGLB-AM (1560).
"Esto hara de nosotros una estación bonafide." dijo John Torres, quien compró la estación de Racine en el 2006.
La senal de la estación va a aumentar durante el día de 350 batios a 1,000 batios y en la noche su senal mejorará de 50 batios a 240 batios, dijo Torres.
